Song Description

Beni Yadav is one of Dharmaraj’s most celebrated Panjiyars, known for protecting women and cattle during turbulent times. Forced to migrate under Mughal pressure, he later revived the dead son of King Jugal Khan, who rewarded him with grazing land. Beni later initiated the Huriyaha tradition to safeguard villages. His life symbolizes bravery, compassion, and social responsibility, and his story remains central to the Bhagait tradition across Mithila.
